Matt's latest recording project: Danny Salazar with Trova Urbana, LIVE IN MUSIC CITY, just wrapped before the holidays with an incredibly successful CD release party at the Mercy Lounge in Nashville. The place was packed and Danny & band put on an awesome show, and as usual, nobody in the house could sit still!
In early January, Danny got to play a HUGE show at The Cannery Ballroom with Nashville's notorious Music Mafia to a crowd of 700! Danny and the new record are already gaining quite a bit of attention around town!
For the week of January 26th, the song "Here I Go Again" from Danny's new album LIVE IN MUSIC CITY will be featured on Nashville's Lightning 100's Local Artist Spotlight all week long! The song, which has a sweet folk flavor, was co-written and co-sung by the very talented Rose Falcon.
Matt is also very excited about his current project working with Bo Bice's former lead guitarist Kris Bell! Kris is an incredible guitar player and has been compared to Clapton & Vaughan, but with his own unique sound and passionate style. Also in the studio, Wilderside engineer, producer, and mixer Geoff Koval is working on an exciting project with well-known Nashville songwriter John Nicholson. John is doing a super cool rock project called Seven Day Binge with Kid Rock's former (and founding) lead guitar player Kenny Olson, 3 Doors Down bass player Todd Harrell, and drummer Shannon Boone. Seven Day Binge is scheduled to tour the new record with 3 Doors Down.
